We warrant that any product protected by the Finishes for Life clear coat will be free from tarnishing, discoloration, flaking and pitting for the life of the product.
In the event that any product covered by the Finishes for Life clear coat fails, we will, at our option, repair or replace the defective product.
Colonial Bronze manufactures all of its products in its Torrington, Connecticut factory. By retaining control of the manufacturing and finishing processes, we control the quality and can offer a guarantee on our product.
Each item is inspected thoroughly to insure that it meets our demanding quality standards.
To provide you with the finest quality hardware available anywhere and to insure lasting beauty, Colonial features the exclusive “Finishes for Life – Tarnish-Free Guaranteed” clear coat.
Caring for your Finishes for Life:
Simply use a damp cloth. Add a mild soap if necessary to remove excessive soiling. Never use an abrasive cleanser – it may damage your finish and void the warranty.
Specific terms of limited lifetime warranty
Colonial Bronze warrants to the end user that its products will be free from original defects in material and workmanship. Colonial will repair, or replace at its option free of charge, any part found to be effective under normal use or service for the life of the product. This warranty applies only to the interior use of Colonial products and does not extend to the use of such products in an exterior setting. Colonial’s liability under this warranty is limited solely to replacement or repair of the defective parts. No agent or representative of Colonial has the authority to waiver, alter or supplement the printed provision of this warranty; to make any representation or warranty not contained herein; or to extend this warranty to other than the original end user of this product. Colonial is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages in conjunction with the use of its products. This limitation includes, but is not limited to, shipping damages, damages occurring during or after installation or removal, damages from chemical use or improper cleaning agents, and damages from careless handling. This warranty is given expressly and in place of all other express or implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, and this warranty is the only warranty made by Colonial Bronze. Please note that some states do not allow limitations on incidental and consequential damages, so the above limitation may not fully apply. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other rights which vary from state to state.
This warranty applies only to interior use of the product.
